To be fair, it really depends on what you are using it for.
For L1 private payments, absolutely. For anything else, not so much.
And that's fine, it's what it's made to do. But it doesn't make it "the best™" at every metric.
Although I see it much less, there is also some Monero Maxi vibes in here now and then.. I say this as a big Monero fan, but maxi anything is too narrow-minded, in my opinion.
You'd also find me supporting other private coins like BEAM and mineration-wise I'm a fan of SIGNUM.
The reality is that monero has been the only coin that we can truly trust as solid enough for daily transactions.
All of the other options on the crypto domain today are either irrelevant, pozzed or government-approved (e.g. transparent).
