Maybe I’m missing context but I’m having a hard time understanding the post.

Are both boys American teenagers? What happened before Austin was killed? Has the US not been multicultural since the beginning? I mean Europeans had no idea how to build houses in Virginia, they needed African understanding of the climate… is that not evidence of multiculturalism??
