Something a bit random. Trying a lot of fermentation. The yellow porridge is lactofermented brown rice, I was trying to make "DIY rice bubbles", but it failed, so I tried a savoury milk porridge. (The boiled laco rice, then milk, turmeric, ginger and cracked pepper)
The top is sauerkraut and lactofermented carrots. If that isn't in the "too hard" or "eww no thanks" buckets I can post the recipes for all of it if you want?
