I have a book I sell on Shopify and I’d like to offer a discount of 21% off applied when people pay with sats. I’m using nostr:nprofile1qqsfkqxhx5447shdrxq0c6dl4dgu8aq4hhnp0qqtgn8wyddzy7f5cwcpp3mhxue69uhkyunz9e5k7qguwaehxw309ahx7um5wgkhyetvv9ujuamvweejuumsv93k2mwrs7a and I tried to vibe code a solution using Claude and ChatGPT but couldn’t pull it off. I’m not a developer so this isn’t a huge surprise.
My guess is this is a very simple plugin that can be made to do this: the condition is “paying with bitcoin” and then the discount is applied. That’s all you need.
I’ll be happy to pay someone in sats to build this, but also they could charge a merchant like me a fee in fiat on the Shopify plugin directory.
I’m sure others here would want this.

I like this idea. I also like the idea that the price of the book will be about $16 in USD but in sats its number go down. I think that’s a fun way to get someone curious about the book.
The book came out a few years ago and I can show price in sats and how the same useful books gets cheaper in sats.
