Reddit is a trash heap. Every time I go back I inevitably get some pedantic edgelord randomly insulting me about the most innocuous shit.
There are some good sub reddits. Nothing can't also be found on dedicated topic forums.
The dungeonsynth Reddit and the fieldrecording Reddit are both quite useful.
It's also useful to add 'reddit' at the end of a search term find answers to stuff where Google is totally failing.
But I'm not an active user tbh
i used it for about half an hour once, and regretted it entirely
reddit was cool but it was definitely attacked by special interest groups
