Regarding to Indian military proposal, my professional opinion is that the timing is not right.

Reasons

1. Troubles already caused by you. (Wider spectrum)

2. Your default debt payment. (Financial perspective)

3. One really qualified and professional handyman (potential in efficiency and accountability)

4. Your own solution to varied difficulties that seen domestically and internationally. (No one would like to team up [including yourself] with someone with no equivalent experience or knowledge, otherwise it would only get results even worse).

Stubborn is a neutral word in my opinion but the fundamental difference is where you put it.
