In my opinion Abrahamic religions share some very bad ideas

This world is less "real" than what comes after death

This world is a trial to be endured

Goodness consists of sacrificing one's well-being in this world, for benefits in the later realm

I think these are related to Nietzsche's slave and master morality

I think Abrahamic religions tend to prioritize meekness and submission, which Nietzsche describes as slave morality

The psychologocial justification for this is that by rejecting power now we will be even more empowered in the next life

I think Nietzsche is correct in noticing that unlimited submission involves relinquishing one's own will to live and this breeds resentment

I think Rand is correct in outlining a third alternative which breaks the master/slave dichotomy: trader morality

Like master morality, this involves a will to live; the good, strong, beautiful, etc are once again synonymous

Like slave morality, the trader forsakes violence, plunder and domination as a way of life

This world is not less real than the one to come. The framework of the bible is that the world is fallen due to human sin and cursed as a result. The hope of the resurrection is a renewed creation.

There is also a strong theme in the new testament of being set free, breaking the bonds/chains of sin, overcoming the world and being victors over death.

The church is a target of the state to be used as a tool to control the masses. It is often overcome, just as shitcoin communities are VC captured, but when faithful to it's teachings it's quite subversive.

the catholic church promotes an artificial separation between humans and angels

if you read in several places you can find clear statements to the effect that angels can breed with humans, and that angels are not to be worshiped as gods (this is what satan and his cult do)

if you read some of the texts the catholics not just rejected but tried to outright remove from history, notably the book of Enoch, these points are explicitly reiterated dozens of times through the texts

jesus was born from artificial insemination, in the qur'an it repeatedly describes how the angel Gabriel "blew" up her skirt and she became pregnant

once you start to entertain the idea that the angels are just humans with knowledge and technology far beyond ours you start to realise that all this christianity stuff is a cargo cult that has been twisted and censored to become an inversion of its proper nature (worshiping angels) and that the repeated promises to return and make a proper court to judge all and burn the ones who are found to be irredeemable in order to carefully separate them before taking them up to our ancestors and cousins (angels) in the heavens (outer space) and the reason why they are doing it?

because humans are valuable

so long as they are a net gain

evil people are brakes on progress and growth

What are the psychological consequences of believing things like this?

My belief is no less spiritual but entirely the opposite

I believe "God" is Nature

Not immutable Gaea

But the whole cosmos

Even us

Patience and endurance in the reality of suffering and injustice. Motivation to try and live at peace with others and help those suffering.
