The only true way increase the overall world’s wealth or “GDP” is to harvest more of the sun’s energy (more efficient food growth, converting rays into electricity, increasing productive forms of biomass, ect.)
Everything else is just a shell game of moving around energy that the planet already contains.
A lot of that energy came from the sun originally (oil, gas, coal are only there due to the sun)
