#nostrscript + #nostrdb will be amazing. I currently have support in nostrscript for fetching from relays, but if scripts work against a database in realtime they will be much faster and simpler. nostrdb can be responsible for syncing stuff in the background while scripts work off the local cache (using the same relay query interface)

also gm and thanks for putting up with my nostr #showerthoughts

Good Morning everyone 🤣🤣🤣🤣

This is the use case I am most excited about. A marketplace of feeds and filters written in nostrscript.

Sounds like you are going to realize that potential soon. Very excited. ❤️❤️

Thanks for posting these thoughts. It’s amazing to watch Damus develop in real time.

I also think this architecture you’re developing is amazing. It may be the best shot we have at avoiding centralised relays and avoiding centralised servers for more algorithmic feeds. The performance is truly amazing.

Good morning. Love reading all your thoughts on #Damus development.

I can’t

Nostr doesn't have accounts that can be closed. Nostr has keys. Those people control their own keys and nobody can disable them.

Block them and you won't see them.

He logged out and is now trying to get back in but forgot his password

You mean he lost his private key?

Yes

The whole point of nostr is censorship resistant. You can't censor people. You can block them if you don't want to see their post. If you lose your keys, you lose access to your 'account forever.

Can you make some info in laymen’s terms about centralized database vs non ? Would love to understand more but my brain search engine is at capacity. 🧠 🖥️
