My husband is the precise opposite.

Give him a list of 5 things to do and leave him alone for 5 hours and he'll be found working out a treatise on the most-efficient way to accomplish the first item, replete with a whiteboard diagram with lots of excited arrows and the mysterious mechanical beginnings of a "take out the trash" automaton.

" 'Take out the trash' automation" is called having kids 😂 Our eldest is 5y/o and happily takes out the trash 40% of the time*!

*...and puts up a fuss about it another 40% of the time, and forgets the remaining 20% of the time.

Sounds like my eldest, at 19. 😂
