In Terry Pratchett’s critically acclaimed #Discworld series, a fictional city (Ankh-Morpork) was run by a Patrician, who legalized “organised crime” (‘organised’, a la UK spelling):
“Crime was always with us, he reasoned, if you were going to have crime, it at least should be organised crime”
in contrast, Janet Yellen - in *the real world* - the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, had the political ability to mint a $1 #trillion platinum coin;
it would be “no bigger than a regular coin”
- you tell me which one makes most rational sense? 🧐
