Vance's book says that when he was 8 his grandma asked “J.D., do you want to suck dicks?” and when he said no she reassured him "even if you did want to suck dicks, that would be okay.

I doubt that ever happened, but true or not, what kind of freak publishes a story like that about his granny. He was 8 years old. WTF?
