I watched a video of a Trump speech in which he mentioned that he has met many intelligent people, but often these smart individuals tend to give up easily in life. He also noted that he has seen many people who are not exceptionally talented achieve great success because they knew how to persevere. This might be because Trump is unaware that highly intelligent people often have a strong mathematical, deterministic mindset. Due to this mindset, after trying once and not succeeding, they choose to cut their losses and give up. However, reality is full of uncertainties, and those with a heavy mathematical, deterministic mindset often fail to realize this. Having once been someone with a strong mathematical, deterministic mindset myself, I understand these intelligent individuals. On the other hand, those who are less intelligent, due to their insensitivity and lack of exposure to such a deterministic mindset, continue to try and, combined with luck, eventually achieve great success. Trump might not realize this point, and from this, it can be inferred that Trump is not truly an intelligent person. Of course, the above viewpoint and the inference that Trump is not a smart person are just one possible conclusion, not a definitive one.
