Ok update: so I see the zap button (it must have been that coincidentally the test note didn’t have zaps enabled). But clicking on it does nothing. So zap.army doesn’t seem to be working for me for some reason?

It’s strange. First of all, yes, I use Phoenix (at the moment) and it opens when I send a zap on someone’s profile.
I have tried the long hold on the ⚡️ button. Didn’t work.
But what’s strange is that, sometimes the zap buttons are there, but then when I toggle the zap.army they don’t show up. Is there a step I’m missing?
I’ve tried starting with Damus open and closed. I toggle the switch on. Then I close Damus (as instructed) and reopen it.
Man, wish I could be more help. It’s usually me having things not work properly. I’m cursed by electronics but I’m also stubborn.
It doesn’t seem like it should matter but maybe connecting a wallet in your profile does something to enable zaps?
That is an interesting point. Ok. I’ll start there. Sometimes weird roundabout stuff like that gets things working.
