This is exactly the conundrum that plagues us physically. There is clearly a tipping point where too much "ease" in our physical life causes us to decline (obesity, lower sperm count, sudden desire to cry or get angry due to low testosterone). In almost all the world you have to be near hyperconscious about what you consume, and the right type of exercise/lifestyle you need to avoid excess and decline. Clearly we need the same attention to our minds now.
