Holy smokes! My #s9 is mining! I'd like to thank nostr:npub1maw9rza6ry4uysekjkrgg5vgghjkf2l6y9cvl0am9qz4r7cmcjsqvpcwdl for the suggestion of a wifi to ethernet bridge that is connecting my router to the internet, which us letting my S9 connect to the pool (currently pointed to ocean, but I'm open to other suggestions).

And what's even more than that is the miner is currently being powered from my solar system, so, currently 100% of the electricity being used to mine has been captured from the sun!

This is just so dang cool!

Check your outlets to make sure they are not getting too warm. If you're running on 110V it can be pushing the outlets close to their max.

Looks like you're using Braiins; if you use slush pool they give you a slight bonus for using their software + their pool.

Happy hashing!

I'm aware of the possible power draw. It's set up for 110V currently, but I've got it set to draw a Mac of 400W as my current battery capacity is only 5kWh, so, it'll draw down the battery overnight and then start mining again as the sun kicks in tomorrow, or, that's the plan. We'll see if that's what happens.

I am currently using braiins, but, I'm wanting to contribute hash power to a distributed pool, as I've recently learned that there is not enough hashing diversity and that is putting BTC at risk of large players being able to take over, and that's just dumb.

I have screwed this up. Ran it on an extension cord once. Dumb.
