That’s what nostr:npub1xdtducdnjerex88gkg2qk2atsdlqsyxqaag4h05jmcpyspqt30wscmntxy says too. I have ideas… and see a number of hurdles also… but my optimism is strong that there WILL be a usable metric for measuring the success of “social onboarding” and the “nostr advocates” who practice it.

“First follow” can be assumed accurately for new accounts. Part of the query engine will involve collecting “first posts” (kind 1 or 4) to find newly created accounts each day. Collecting first posts for “existing” accounts will be more challenging, but we’ll only be going six months back. So the “tracking of user onboarding” will get better over time.
