He was at the top of a system that kills millions every year. Maybe he didn't even do all of that evil, but neither did he use his power to stop it, and he could have. One life is relatively insignificant to the system he represents. In fact his entire giant business was predicated on this same basic truth.

Did he deserve to die is the wrong question. You should be asking how many lives he may have cost, and whether his death will change the system. And the answer is, it's worth a shot.
