The way expanding kernel doesn't pose a threat to distros - even though it may assume some of their function ; the growth of #bitcoin doesn't eat into existing assets .
It actually expands the surface area of assets classes - and adds many new ....

It should not be a surprise to anyone - cuz it happened in our not very far off past .. as market cap of #gold (kernel) increased so did that of property , arts and whole new asset class was born - securities ..
