I'm currently in #India this week checking in on a subsidiary here. I enjoy sports, especially #ufc #nfl #cfb and #ncaam - I'll do a post later on favorite teams. I'm married and have a few kids. Lightning is best self-hosted but that can be daunting for people new to Bitcoin. Best to use a custodial wallet such as on Primal or ZBD. But, once you get used to it, running your own node means you don't need an intermediary.

Ok, so just sent #lightning to you and it auto sent the amount - is there a way to change the amount that sends when I hit the button?
It depends on the client. Primal has a zaps section in settings including default amount. Amethyst you have to hold the zap icon and adjust the amounts. I'm sure damus has a similar settings tab.

Its more about what you prefer and less about what others think is best. Every solution is just trade-offs. Use them all find which works best for your needs.
