If people started voting with feet a 1000 Lichtensteins would flourish to meet them.
By a 1000 Lichtensteins, I mean it in quite the literal sense. Micro states that can’t even afford war, that can only survive by trading with other micro states and by attracting human capital through incentives like no taxes.
That won’t work under modern nation-states.
