It is but it's a custodial wallet which means your funds could easily be pulled by them like a rug if they wanted to.

Thats what I thought already. I just went with that one because I had no idea about other options.

What are “better” options in your opinion?

Breez, Phoenix, Zeus (requires lightning node, for now).

We're using Phoenix as our #nostr wallet.

Well, it works with nostr in the sense it can zap lightning addresses.

Depends what you want to use it for - saving your stack? No way. Having a quick easy method to receive some coin that you can move on at your leisure, or keeping small balances for zapping, yeah no worries.

Cool cool! Yeah I just went with WoS cuz I was new here at the time. But I couldn’t find real safety measurements inside the wallet. So now I’m thinking to switch it up.

I don't believe any wallet that's a custodial wallet like that one is good. Always non custodial wallet option makes the sense as your keys your Bitcoin .

That is very true! I was reading about WoS this morning, and the fact that its custodial felt kind of weird actually. What would you advise?

If you are looking to really secure your sats bluewallet is my go to. Write down the words and secure the words.

Wos and any lightning wallet is not to save and store long term. It's just a spending wallet. 🖖🏾
