I can understand them being skeptical of bitcoin if they don’t understand it. It’s not exactly new, but it’s also new to most people. So I get it if they disagree or don’t want to own any themselves. But to cut her out of their own will is such a low thing to do.
They also don't want us moving to our property outside the city. So, it's a one two punch to control us and then punish us. It's nuts.
Good thing you have bitcoin, now you won’t need anything from them. If they have fiat it will probably be worthless anyway. Still seems like a weird position to take. FWIW I changed jobs five years ago so I could cash out my 401k so I’m picking up what you’re putting down.
That's what I worry about for them. They are making a power move with something that will leave them poor. They love fiat, real estate, and gold. It is Texas, so the real estate may hold up. Gold has already let them down.
The thing that really annoys me is that I made the conversion to bitcoin in 2018. They used it against me know bc we are getting the hell out of the city, and it leaves them feeling exposed.
