I couldn't imagine holding on to fiat any longer than I have to. Makes me anxious and I expect it to disappear from my account any moment or to get hit with unexpected "account management fees". Hence I swap fiat to Bitcoin as quick as I can (most of the time) and just leave enough for bills.

I'm the same.

I've had funds confiscated before, so I also get anxious holding any serious amount of fiat.

I hear you man. I also don't like it when people ask me questions about my money. Banking is a service, they're not my legal guardian.
