Nosara is a 25m prop plane flight from San Jose, the international airport. Then like 15m drive into town.

I love a prop plane, but will increase cost for ppl

It’s about $160 round trip. Other option is rent car and drive but I imagine that’s around same price. Not sure about busses (long drive)

That’s cheap!

CR optimizes for tourism

yeah it doubles the cost lol. it went from $600 to $1200 for me. definitely can't do $1200.

there can be a pleb fund to help with transport?

think bigger 😂

Can do private shuttle busses for <$100 round-trip per person.

this is more my speed. 🤝

epic, save $ and meet fellow nostristas 🤟

Yeah and the scenery is beautiful. You don’t want to be within 1 hour of the airport anyway, that’s the tourist traps. If you want to understand the pura vida vibe, you have to go deeper.

I’m from Costa Rica, I will organize plebs from San Jose to be there too

I’m sure the Bitcoin Cyclist (Eugenio) would help out, too!

🙋‍♂️

Should be $160 round trip for prop from San Jose. Can look into shared charters too to minimize cost.

ok. i was just looking at google flights. maybe there's a better option for local arrangements.

https://flysansa.com/ is one domestic airline. Looks like $300 RT in mid-March.

Something tells me Norway - this place will be a rough one

but plz sir, what about visas?

What country are you from? CR is pretty open…

https://costarica.org/travel/visas/

oh no, I dont need one, but getting into the EU for many, is not easy (was responding to Norway bit)

Visas are one thing, travel expences another.

Costa Rica is heavily optimized for tourism. It’s > 10% of GDP.
