Day 35: #grownostr initiative

We conducted a test of different bedding using pine and corn cob pellets alongside wood shavings. We placed them in the goat pen while it rained and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of water the pellets absorbed. Normally the pen becomes muddy, but with the pellets it turned into almost a soft sand condition. I think both pellets did well, but if I had to pick one I would probable say the the pine did a little better (FYI the wood shavings just puddled up).
