Stitcher, the app I used as my daily driver Podcast listening app, just shut down. I had listened to pods there for the last thirteen or so years. They used to have a tracker that would tell you how many overall hours you had listened - and it always cracked me up how much overall time I had spent just listening to podcasts of people talking.

I have used Fountain here and there for many of the Bitcoin/Nostr focused pods, but was still going back to Stitcher for a lot of the podcasts I had been listening to for years.

Turns out Fountain has all the pods I liked from Stitcher, as well as all of the new stuff I have started listening to recently. I’m not missing a thing, and don’t know why it took me so long to make the full switch. Well I do know why… it was the comfort and ease that made me stick with Stitcher for the majority of pods, but with the app shutdown, I’m all Fountain, all v4v, all the way. The way it should be.
