I really wish I'd done more splitting last summer so that they were fully dry & good to go.

Each year I get a little more prepared.

Ideally I'd be a year ahead & so splitting now for next winter (southern hemisphere).

In the north its nice to be two years ahead. Assures fully seasoned.

It is fun work. And rewarding.

Easy to if you can maintain good practice

There's no better feeling than keeping your family warm & dry from your own work.

I'll start with 1 year & work up to the 2 😆

I implore you to start scraps bins.

You’ll be amazed at how quickly scraps build up over the off season.
