#sf is safe and beautiful, ignore all the haters. golden gate park itself is amazing, from the bison to the swans to the 3 museums. You're off season for the rose garden, but the conservatory is great all year long. public transit is cheap and generally gets you anywhere in the city. The not for tourist things to do could include:

Hidden Garden Steps at 16th Avenue at Kirkham, Lincoln Park steps at California at Lincoln Golf Course, golden gate bridge off hours, Lands's End park/Sutro Baths at sunset/sunrise, SF MOMA, union sq has ice skating for the christian holidays. Richmond/Sunset are full of great food places too.

my .00000000000002 btc for what to do

I am having issues zapping or I would zap you. Once I fix it, is coming.

Sounds like I will just have a good time in Golden Gate park. I am pretty sure I've actually been in the conservatory, probably about a decade ago. Looking forward to looking up the non tourist things if within easy access and proximity. Thank you, for all the suggestions.

I biked across the Golden Gate Bridge with a group of 50 entrepreneurs in my circle at the time, 14 years ago. I love driving through that bridge. It's like a portal. Some months ago drove late at night with no other cars around. It was the kinda trippy I like.

What's the off hours experience you are talking about?

Don't count me in for the ice skating, but my opera singer stilt walker friend just told me a few days ago that union square is perfect for busking this time around and she does that and might go say hi to her.

Sounds like you know the city pretty well.

I appreciate it but I don't do zaps yet.

I like the lights of the city at night. If alone, you will get approached by the anti-suicide squad, which have been some fascinating conversation over the years. They have saved more people than we'll ever know.

I'm downtown amidst the cacophony of striking workers exercising their rights.
