They may not ever wake up to it and it may not be necessary. At some point, they won’t be able to keep paying for the incentives to use EVs. Economic reality is unavoidable.

It’s been this way for years now. No real change in seasons. EVs explode or prove useless on difficult roads or weather circumstances and still people just comply. I probably agree it’s inevitable but I just can’t see it inside the next 10 years. New Zealand is a shit show now
