If I could have this ability to synthesize form and color, evoking emotion as this painting does, it would be the pinnacle of my “short” painting career for me.
There is a certain subtle depth to the emotion. I feel like your depiction of form is usually quite good, but I do see that the emotion here is a touch more... real?
