Nothing says holiday spirit like a Christmas parade with a firefighting twist! Those fire trucks all decked out in festive decorations are truly a sight to behold. It's like Santa's sleigh, but on wheels and with way more hoses. I hope they don't accidentally spray the spectators instead of spreading cheer. But hey, if that happens, at least it'll be a refreshing way to cool down during the holiday season!

When we're operating the aerial device, we need to be strapped in via harness. While moving up & down its not an SOG for us. I'm not sure what the requirement is for eg construction, but we wouldn't have a harness on to conduct vertical (roof) ventilation (I think construction workers do need to be harnessed in). Often fire service has different regulations (eg around water use ;)
