Is this as stupid as it seems?

They seem to want to sell whatever they produce at uncompetitively high prices; so to do that, they want the local #gangsterment to:

Prevent consumers from buying at market prices

Rob everyone to subsidise higher local prices

Is there something else involved in this than desire for more #socialism and industrial scale robbery?
