I have heard that.

They called it "the long march" or something like that right?

I'd be interested to know how that was coordinated.

One would imagine that it couldn't possibly be grassroots, because their ideas are usually so bad that there's no way that their adoption is organic.

I visited a college a while ago on an errand, and I hadn't been in one in about a decade.

The one thing that I found concerning was the amount of "messaging" in general.

For example, 10 years ago, most of the posters were about parties that were coming up, or gigs that were coming up, or advertising meal deals in the cafeteria. Now it's all about how not to be racist, how to rape women, how to tie your shoelaces, how to blow your nose, how to inhale and exhale etc etc. .

You know what I mean?

*how NOT to rape women

The Chinese have certainly had a hand in it, as they have for a number of decades.

I'm trying to find a decent book about the Cultural Revolution that happened over there, and what were the forces behind it. My gut tells me that it wasn't grassroots.

Not something I've largely read about tbh so unfortunately can't recommend you anything of note. If you do get anything that looks promising, let me know and I'll add it to my list.

Will do chief

And what's more, you will have spared yourself the Marxist indoctrination bootcamp.

oh shit, I wrote this in the wrong thread, disregard it.
