So I'm wondering what the point of having a followers count is for?

It is of no consequence that we know how many people follow us. We write a note, maybe someone replies/likes or users interact. It doesn't matter to know how many followers we have.🧐

I guarantee that people coming from Xitter care about it though, so it's probably not a bad thing to have.

Sure, I'm just thinking about how it would be for me personally to be able to just switch the count off in a settings option.
