Eh. I saw the one in 2017. It was maybe 75%.
I saw one as a kid. I think somewhere around 1994? It got a bit darker, maybe 80-90%?
This would have been cool to see 100%. Would have been cool.

We were in the path of totality. It was wild. Never seen anything like it. 70 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. Didn't get as dark as I thought but maybe cause all the street lights kicked on...
