Hormonally-healthy, masculine men will always prefer young women. This is because men are:
(a) More visually-stimulated creatures by nature. they put more weight on physical beauty, which youth brings
(b) Logically-wired. they understand that younger women have more years ahead of them to bear children, so if they dream of building a large family in a homestead on the prairie, mathematically they will need a young girl (women have lost 90% of their eggs by age 30)
We are now watching an entire generation of women realizing that this boss babe culture they've been sold was a huge scam, they are NOT happy being a "cat mom" with a corporate career, and now no men want them anymore for the above reasons.
I talk about this because I've lost count of how many times I've watched the exact same story play out:
-Woman gets blasted by constant male attention during her 18-25 prime years
-She gets so used to being pedestalized that she overvalues herself, turns down lots of high-quality men believing "someone even better will come along"
-Gets slapped in the face when she crosses the 30 mark and all of a sudden the constant male attention she's used to evaporates into thin air
-Gets slapped in the face AGAIN as she realizes this corporate rat race she's now stuck in is completely unfulfilling, and the idea of being a trad-wife raising some kids in a dope house actually sounds pretty damn nice
-The biologically-wired baby fever sets in. She starts feeling her guts churn with regret every time she sees a young mom laughing and playing with their husband and children in the park
-Maybe she settles for a low-quality guy who's equally desperate, maybe she keeps lying to herself that "I'm still in my prime, men are just gross pedophiles for wanting women younger than me!!!". But regardless, ends up spending the rest of her life regretting not locking down that high-quality man who loved her back in her youth, who she fumbled because she didn't know what she had.
I know all of this sucks, feels unfair, and perhaps makes you angry to hear. But biology is undefeated, and in a world full of constant propaganda telling women that "toxic masculinity" is EVIL and they need to go WORK WORK WORK so they can pay more taxes, which conveniently helps the .01% collect more money, while simultaneously lowering the number of strong family units with the power & motivation to overthrow their corrupt system...
A lot of modern women are learning the brutally-hard way that they have simply been played.
