The protein/ fat/mineral ratio makes it a superfood. studies have shown autophagy and ketones rise higher than dry fasting alone in a much shorter time frame, additionally no muscle deterioration occurs from the fast do to the protein intake.
Anecdotally, the last time I did this I felt great during and after and subjectivity think I gained more muscle.
