It's like the terrible twos over again where they start rebelling against everything. But that rebellion is a test of the culture they live in, trying to find what's real and what's fake. I was pretty hard to deal with too, probably, but I was too busy with school most of the time to care. School ruined me.

That's the other thing, teenagers can only care about so much, and it's usually never what you want them to care about. It's better to find out what it is they do care about than to stay ignorant about it or ignore it.
