So something progressive Americans keep asking me is, “Why would Canadians elect an extremist right wing Prime Minister when they’re so progressive and rational?”

He doesn’t just speak slogans. He always has statistics and pie charts handy. Everything he says sounds good. I even find myself nodding along.
