Fuck you EU. Revolut:

We're letting you know that on 29 September 2025 3:00 PM GMT, buying crypto through Revolut will be temporarily restricted for customers in your country.

This change only affects buying crypto — all other crypto services, including selling, staking, withdrawals, and deposits, will be available as normal.

Why is this happening?

As a regulated business, we must comply with local and EU requirements. This temporary restriction is in response to changes in regulatory guidance, and will make sure we stay compliant in all markets we operate in.

I received the same notification today here in Germany. For my private and my business accounts. Not that I use #Revolut to buy #Bitcoin anyway, but still … #FCKTEU

Yeah. I just have their debit card in case I need dirty money on the quick. Used to have Binance's card before they lost their EU payment processor. Also thanks to Ursula and co. It was the best BTC->EUR product I ever had. Plus the cashback was pretty decent too and the interest on balances.
