I taught myself to the basics of how to code while in biz school thinking it would make me a better project manager. Then I took some engineering classes for the same reason.

Now I benefit from that knowledge mostly for my own pursuits and setting up a side-gig. Glad I did it, even if the benefit isn't what I expected going in!
