Timid, instead of humble, I suppose.

Yes. Meek is interpreted as weak, timid, poor etc etc.

Humility is what it means. Humble, empathetic etc.

You can be rich, strong etc and still be meek in the eyes of the lord.

I always though meek meant humble or gentle.

You’re a wise man.

Many don’t interpret it that way. More like timid, poor, weak etc.

The church takes advantage of this false interpretation IMO. “The poor, weak, timid shall inherit the earth”. Give us all your money and you’re good to go😉

Humility. Humble.

You can be extremely strong and wealthy and meek.
