Thank God the Duolingo owl is dead, now they just need to kill off the other globe globohomo garbage mascots and "cute" faggy characters that plagued it and I can go back to actually using a language app that's not filled with neotenous trash like cartoons that takes itself seriously as a language learning platform.

Probably won't matter since the learning lessons will include faggy nonsense anyway, so I won't be going back more than likely.
