Mazin, I see that using just filter, the images and profile data takes time to load, could this be a particularity of the aggregator relays or the way it is used on the client?
That's why I keep nos.lol on my list, the profile image and name load faster in the feed.
Which client are you using? I’ve used exclusively this relay setup (nostr.wine, filter.nostr.wine, and welcome.nostr.wine) since March without any slow loading.
I'm using #amethyst. I will do one more test.
I’ll play around with it too. To be fair, depending on your location, nos.lol may indeed be way faster than filter - that and wine are probably the fastest relays on nostr.
Also, if you’re using amethyst, you can drop the npub and broadcast flag from your filter relay. They support AUTH and we made the broadcast true by default if you use AUTH.
So you can just use: wss://filter.nostr.wine and get the same personalized experience!
