If you farming, make sure to ask your customers what they want and what price they are willing to pay before putting any seed in the ground.

Yes and no. Definitely know your market. But volume and preservability go a long way.
In my area, people aren't self aware enough to answer this in a way that's actionable. The beauty of farming is that I put seed in the ground, bring the result to market, and see if folks like it. Don't need a bajillion R&D cycles like an app.
