Did you ever read The Loom of Language?
No I have not. What’s it about?
It is a book about languages, mostly concentrating on European languages. Trying to link and contrast them. It also offers up some key vocabulary lists, to assist in getting a basic understanding of the European languages. The book is a bit dated but I often enjoy reading older books, so long as you appreciate there may be errors in it.
Just checked it out sounds interesting, gonna have to add it to my future reads. I’ve fallen off with my reading the last year and a half. I have a long list to knock of and may never get to some lol!
