the orb is designed to be tamper resistant so it is incredibly difficult - if not impossible - to verify what data it is collecting

even if you were to successfully inspect one orb you would not be able to confirm that a non inspected orb was operating similarily

Thank you,

Am I understanding correctly that the Orb only collects data from an eye scan to confirm an individual identify? I haven't been on it yet, but it does seem likely it would also collect other personal identifying information (PPIs) i.e., IP address, cookie data, etc. Do you know what other PPI is required to normally proceed with an Orb eye scan? Is proceeding with an Alias prohibited?

Am I understanding correctly that with Orb verification, one can then set up a WorldCoin account which probably introduces another level of data collection. I am not knowing whether proceeding with an Alias is prohibited. Do you know?

I had originally envisaged this type Orb verification process to be similar to my making myself known as a human being, which is presenting myself in public place. There is no public place here, only virtual space. What allows us to believe the other is real in this space? Being identified as a human and known as human by the other may have value in this space. But even in public, not many know my name.
