Bitcoiners understand the importance of self-custody. “Not your keys, not your coins” they say. Your Bitcoin private key proves your ownership of your coins and gives you the ability to spend or move your sats whenever you wish. Jesus holds keys, too. In this verse, we read that Jesus holds the keys of death and Hades (Hell). He defeated death and Hell by his resurrection and now he owns them!
