i appreciate your account but having lived and visited for extended periods many countries, netherlands, england, hungary, serbia, bosnia, bulgaria, portugal, new zealand, and grown up in queensland, in australia, as well as lived in the capital city and northern nsw, i can assure you

all politicians are corrupt

all large businesses are unduly influencing the government

all national laws are overly complex and so open to interpretation that every bureaucracy and local and state bureaucracy is a dictatorship

and almost everyone will admit to you that they think that the system is bent but what can you do about it?

which is why i appreciate you posting this, the reality on the ground is something you don't get without actually living there and trying to do things, and discovering what a complete farce the "rule of law" actually is

people need to start saying it louder, and be less afraid of being castigate that there is no such thing as an honest politician, bureaucrat or corporate boss

they are all borderline psychopaths, if not fully, and deserve absolutely no respect nor does anything their mouthpieces, who claim to be free press, say about them is even remotely truthful
